W.E. Eckloff Obituary

Eckloff, W. E. "Bill"
passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. A long-time resident of Pasadena, Arcadia and Sierra Madre, California, Bill attended Marshall Jr. High and Pasadena High School and served in the Army Air Force. He and his bride, Shirley, were married at Holliston Avenue Methodist Church on September 4, 1948. Bill was the owner of Harry's Glass Shop from 1951 until his retirement to Arizona. During the following years Bill was a member in the Pasadena Jaycees, the San Pasqual Masonic Lodge (since 1959) and was active in two flying clubs; The Icarians and The Skylarks. Bill enjoyed playing bridge each week, frequent games of golf and flying his Cessna 182 whenever possible. Bill is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter Janíce & her husband Kent Harr of Lake Forest, CA.; his son William Carl Eckloff and his family's dear friend, Tim Lindeman, both of Heron, MT.; his grandson Travis & his wife Erin Harr as well as their three daughters, Madison, Kylie, and Alexis of Peoria, AZ.; granddaughter Brandie & her husband Sal Sanchez and their daughters, Ashlynn and Emma of Lake Forest, CA; his sister, Doreen Keenan of Paradise, CA.; his sister-in-law, Sue Lawson of Arcadia, California.
