Grace Modica Obituary
passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2011 at the age of 78. Born in New Haven, Connecticut she resided in Scottsdale, Arizona for the last 47 years. A retired LPN, she is survived by two sisters, one brother, two daughters, two sons, one granddaughter, and a loyal four-legged companion. She will be missed by her friends and family. A memorial service will be held in Grace's honor at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, June 15th at The Church of the Epiphany, 2222 South Price Road, Tempe, AZ 85282. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Grace's memory to the Scottsdale Fire Department, Attn: Kelly McDowell, 8401 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary.

Sweet Gracie,
How we loved you so! You will be missed by our entire family. Your friendship with my mother was so cherished by her. Thank you for loving all of us as if we were your own. You know we all love you right back.

I want to send my condolences and prayers to the Modica Family. Your mother was a great and beautiful friend, which was a great time for me, We were great telephone buddies and i enjoyed all the time that we shard together through those telephone conversations. she shared her love with everyone that came through her life at tge workplace, and i learned a lot of things from her,she was a great buddy to have, I will miss her dearly.
