Matthew Orwoll Obituary
Matt was born May 17, 1961 in La Mirada, CA, and passed away Friday, June 10, 2011 at his home in Phoenix. He left behind his loving friend, Michael Medina and many other friends and relatives who will miss him deeply; his mother, Patty, stepfather, Fred, brothers, Bob and Mark and his sister, Vicki. Matt's family, along with many nieces and nephews were able to visit him in his last few weeks. He also had the much appreciated support of his many friends at work. A Memorial Service will be held at A.L. Moore Grimshaw, 710 West Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 6:00 pm. www.ALMoore-Grimshaw.com

My sympathies to those who loved and cherished Matt. I had several classes with him at McNally and Neff and he could always make me smile - that was his gift and I will carry that with me always.

Michael, I grew up w/Matt in La Mirada. He was a great friend. I was soo jealous of his golden curly locks. He really looked like your typical "surfer dude" from So. Cal. We played tennis, went to the beach, and always laughed, laughed, laughed. He was an amazing human being...

I don't know how appropriate it is for me, the big Sis, to write on this page. I just have something to say for the record, so here goes...
You made me "the little momma". I drug you around everywhere. I taught you alot, probably more than you needed to know at the time, but I meant well. When I think of you Matt, I think sarcastic, honest, loving,funny,frank, caring, hard-working, and just. Forget about handsome! A smile that brightens a room, THE sharpest tool in shed and a hug that fills the heart. Even at the end of your time here on earth, you made certain your wishes were fulfilled.
