Bob Wallace Obituary

Wallace, Bob J.
Bob J. Wallace, 82, of Phoenix, Arizona, went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2011. Bob was born in Elkhorn City, Kentucky, where he grew up living a "Tom Sawyer" existence. He married Margaret Ann Blair of Ashland, Kentucky, who he met in high school. He served in the Air Force, and received training in photography, which led to a lifelong career in the photographic arts. In 1963, he, his wife, and their two children, permanently moved to Phoenix, Arizona, from Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his wife Margaret, married 62 years, their son Steve and his wife Sherri, two grandsons Zachary and Preston, and their daughter Pam Hansen, grandson Nick, and his wife, Amber and granddaughter Janelle. Also survived by a sister Deanie Wheeler (Lexington, Ky), and a brother D.A. Wallace (Ashland, Ky). Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Monday, June 13th at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. in Phoenix. Graveside honors service will be held Tuesday, June 14th at 10:00am at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. www.ALMoore-Grimshaw.com

We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of favorite Uncle Bob. My father just let me know a few days ago. My mother Kay was Uncle Bobs sister. I have so many fond memories of the past visits and time my family shared with you and your family.
