Wow Mark..its been over a year and I still fell like I just talked to you yesterday. Still think of you everyday, you in all of your simpleness and lighthearted humor. I know I speak for many when I say we do miss you so.

Recently I dreamed of Mark - once actually of Mark in a hospital, and a week later, I dreamed of Mary telling me that he had passed two months ago. After a search, I found this guest book. Heaven will be a better place with Mark in it, but the world will suffer his loss. Just a wonderful, heartful man that I will never forget ~ his friendship over the many years, how he kicked my butt at golf lessons, how he slyly introduced me to Eckankar, how he sold me a wonderful insurance policy, and how he IM'd me to tell me he was dying. I will never forget any of it. To both Marys .. I mourn your loss dearly. To Mark's girls, so sorry that your Dad left so soon, and to Mark's family and dear friends, I'm feeling it with you. You are all in my prayers.

I would like to thank everyone for their kind words and thoughts. I have gone through a lot in the last week and a half but what keeps me going is the knowledge that Mark loved me with all his heart, no matter what. He made sure I knew that the night before he passed and I am grateful for that. I miss him and will always miss him.

Mark was a very special person. He helped me, as he did others, through an uncertain time in my life and helped me make sense of things that were senseless. His vibrant laugh and sparkling laughing eyes could fix about anything. His bear hugs were the best. In my life's adventure, Mark made a difference as I am sure he did for others as well. He is a good soul and will be missed. My utmost condolences for Mary and the kids.

Mark and Mary are the truest friends anyone can have. You were there for me through all my trials and tribulations and Gene's "brother" will be missed by me and all that knew and loved him. The three best men I ever knew are at peace now, caring for one another and watching over those of us that love them.

Mary, in Mark I saw all that he has left to you. Your sense of family, your sense of humor, your care in giving back to the community, and your sense of selflessness.

I wish for Mark that his journey now be of peace and love. For you Mary, I wish you strength and healing. From my family and I, we all wish you our heart felt condolences.

My heart goes out to Mark and Marys family.
Mark was one of those people who was put on Earth to touch peoples hearts and minds. He certainly did that. He once asked me if I thought people would remember him after he was gone. I told him more people would miss and remember him than he knew. I think he knows now. May he be blessed in his passage to the ever-after, and be well in his journey.

Love and Miss you Mark

Mary - I've only met you once, but heard soooo much about you from Mark. I met Mark at Ames & then later at Marshalls. He & I worked together and I have many fond memories of him & his zest for life. Mark had this quick wit and a contagious laugh that could fill a room. He found the humor in just about anything. Mark brightened many lives and his absence will be greatly felt by all those who loved him. Mark & I could go periods without seeing each other, but always pick up where we left off, just as if no time has passed. Our friendship was unconditional. Mark will be forever missed!!!!!!
Mary, I am sorry for your loss.
I hope you find comfort through family, friendships and the love you both shared. Wherever you are, he will always be in your heart.
Thank you for calling -
Anne

Mary,

It's sad news to learn of Mark's struggle and passing. I hope you will find comfort and peace in God's love for you and your family. Mark was such an open and giving man. He was there for anybody that needed a friend. All the hours spent with the Maryland group, to having a conversation with him about anything. Keep your faith, and the Lord will carry you in the days ahead.
