Stephanie Cummings Obituary

Stephanie Cummings LENOX Stephanie R. Cummings, 87, of 12407 Summit Chase Drive, Tavares, Fla., formerly a long-time resident of West Street in Lenox, died Saturday Oct. 25th in Tavares.Born in Great Barrington, daughter of Alexander and Rosalie Yurga, she attended public schools there. Stephanie was primarily a homemaker but also worked at some of the summer estates in Lenox. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Eustis, Fla., and for much of her life was a communicant of St. Ann's Church in Lenox. She was an avid gardener, loved to travel, and enjoyed reading. Stephanie's husband, the late Kenneth F. Cummings, died Dec. 19, 1979. She leaves her son, Kenneth F. Cummings, and his wife, Donna, of Dataw Island, S.C.; one daughter, Linda A. Lewis, and her husband, Wayne, of Chesterville, Maine.; two sisters, Bessie Romeo of Lenox and Alice Sullivan of Altoona, Fla.; two granddaughters, Kelly Balier of Palm City, Fla., and Stephanie Lewis of Farmington, Maine.; four grandsons, Earl Lewis of Wilmington, N.C., Ian Lewis of Farmington, Maine., Matthew Lewis of Farmington, Kenneth Lewis of Chesterville, three great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grand nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. from the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Ann's Church celebrated by the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9 until the time of the funeral. In lieu of flowers donations in Stephanie's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association, both in care of the funeral home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA. 01240.
