Thinking of Uncle Ray will always make me smile. The image of that little engineer cap on that bear of a man will always be how I remember him. Ray was a rare man who always held to his convictions. He was one of the most stubborn people I know and that says a lot coming from our family. There is no one else you would want to have your back, if you were right, because Ray would never give up.

The Fiske Family, I am so sorry for your loss and pray that God helps you get through this difficult time. Although I have not met all of you personally I've been blessed to have had Ray share some of his wonderful stories about you. My memories of your Ray> Ray has blessed those he touched with such a sense of humbleness that I for one am forever grateful. He has taught me more about real friendship in the 15+ yrs we have known each other than some will learn in a lifetime. Our late late late nights at the Smyna WAWA and the backyard bonfires were always the highlight of my night...my life. I could always trust that when I needed help with anything Ray without a doubt was there to help no questions asked he could be counted on everytime. When Ray called me to tell me he finally got his Harley he sounded like a little kid after kissing his first girlfriend, boy was I happy for him. He told me that he wanted to get Harriet and the family a new house and he accomplished that like he said he would. I had never hunted with Ray but was always on the phone with him in the early morning hours asking him if he wanted a deer we had got in an accident, once he said "yeah bring it over Harriet and Dave will gut it I'm in New York getting some Krogen bologna". So I put the deer in the back of my cruiser and dropped it off in the early A.M. Harriet and Dave thanked Ray I'm sure for that one! We had recently discussed a major bike roadtrip with friends to my place in Florida and with our common friend Bruce Peachy who I sadly just learned yesterday that after fighting a short battle is now riding with Ray on that Golden Harley Screamin Eagle in the Heavens. They are the lucky ones now looking over us while we hopefully try to share with each and everyone we meet the love, kindness and compassion Ray has shared with each of us in his special way until we can give that big Brutus of a man a great big bearhug again! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

There are some people that you have the pleasure of knowing that seperate themselves from everyone else. They are the kind of people that when seen, everyone smiles. They are the kind of people that will go that extra mile to take care of whatever you need, and be there whenever you need them. Ray was one of those people. You don't come across too many in your lifetime. You are fortunate to know these people. I only knew Ray for three years. BUT, I knew right away, that Ray was this type of person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, including us. There is such a void knowing that Ray is no longer with us. However, we are fortunate to have know him, and appreciate the time we had. We send our sincere condolences to Harriett, his kids, and the rest of the family.
