Foster V. Grunfeld SHEFFIELD Foster V. Grunfeld, 56, an editor, writer, and publisher, died of a heart attack on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at his home in Worcester, N.Y. He leaves his 15-year-old son, Francis V. Grunfeld, and Mary E. Moriarty, Foster's ex-wife and Francis' mother, both of Worcester. Foster also leaves his mother, Dorothy M. Weaver of Sheffield; stepmothers, Jacoba "Toby" Molenaar of Sag Harbor, N.Y., and Annie O'Sullivan Grunfeld of Deia, Mallorca, Spain. His father, Frederic V. Grunfeld, and stepfather, John C. Ingersoll, predeceased him. He leaves siblings, Laura Grunfeld of Sheffield; Caty Grunfeld of Palma, Mallorca; Marc Doggwiler of Sag Harbor, Tom Ingersoll of Sheffield; Russell Ingersoll of Monterey, Calif.; Geoffrey and Adam Grunfeld of London, England, and Laura Ahitov of Los Angeles, Calif.; his aunts, Svea Gold of Eugene, Ore., and Ingrid Remak of Bloomington, Ind., as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
