PITTSFIELD -- Carolyn DeSantis, 64, of 320 Pittsfield Road, Providence Care, died on Wednesday at Berkshire Medical Center after a short illness. She previously resided at Providence Court.
Born in Pittsfield on April 15, 1943, daughter of Louis J. DeSantis Sr. and Eleanor Geary DeSantis, she attended local schools.
She enjoyed puzzles, board games, checkers, and playing cards.
She leaves a brother, Louis J. DeSantis Jr. and a sister, Mary Jane Henry, both of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Carolyn DeSantis, who died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, will be tomorrow at 8 a.m. at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church by the Rev. James K. Joyce, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. Calling hours will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to either the Providence Care Residents' Fund or St. Jude Children's Hospital, in care of the funeral home. She also leaves a brother-in-law, Thomas Henry; a sister-in-law, Linda DeSantis; and three nieces, Kelly Buckley, Krista Ferris, and Alicia Walsh. She loved children, especially her nieces.

My brother and I were very fond of Carol when we were children. She always played cards or board games with us when we came to visit. So sorry for your loss, your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
