PRATT -- M. Eileen (Brennan) Pratt, 87, of Laurel Drive, Simsbury, Conn., wife of the late Dwight W. Pratt, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Avon (Conn.) Health Center. She was born Sept. 5, 1920, in Dalton, daughter of Harry T. and Margaret Shean Brennan, and lived in several states before moving to Simsbury 48 years ago. She received a bachelor's in Spanish in 1942 from Brown University. During the first 25 years of her marriage, she was an Air Force wife, which involved many travels. Eileen was a member of St. Mary's Church and of its Ladies' Guild and of the McLean Auxiliary. She leaves two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert J. and Stephanie Pratt of Avon, Conn., and Richard and Lori Pratt of Syracuse, N.Y.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Stephen Lee of Southington and Dr. Nancy Pratt and Bruce Fox of Hopkinton; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald J. and Mary Brennan of Dalton; six granddaughters, Kelly Deth, Alexandra Fox, Kerri Hubbard, Nicole and Kristie Pratt and Jennifer Symmes; two grandsons, Matthew Lee and Scott Symmes; two step-grandsons, Stephen and Christopher Lee; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John T. Brennan. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Avon Health Center for its compassionate care during the final four weeks of her life. Friends may call at VINCENT FUNERAL HOME, 880 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, Conn., on Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 7:45 to 9:45 a.m., folowed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church in Simsbury, Conn. Burial will be in Simsbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to FIDELCO Guide Dog Foundation Inc., 103 Old Iron Ore Road, Bloomfield, CT 06002.
