PITTSFIELD -- Ann M. Gull, 89, of 48 Pine St. died Nov. 23 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Housatonic on May 17, 1918, daughter of Massimo and Mary Zariani Ricchi, she attended schools there.
Mrs. Gull was a homemaker.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, which she taught at the former Girls' Club.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church.
Her husband, Joseph A. Gull, whom she married Feb. 22, 1941, died Dec. 9, 2004.
She leaves a daughter, Sandra A. Gull of Troy, N.Y.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Ann M. Gull, who died Nov. 23, 2007, will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 30, at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, CSS, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Mrs. Gull also leaves nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HopiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home. She was predeceased by five brothers, George, Celestino, Aldo, Armando and Peter P. Ricchi, and by a sister, Clementine Cimini.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Sandra,
I am so very sorry to read about the passing of your wonderful mother. I remember when she and Joe use to come in Stop and Shop and I was able to speak some Italian with them. She will be missed.

I only know MS Gull from Stop and Shop, I use to wait for her to come in with her daughter . There are people you remember with fond memories she is one of them . She was a joy,was surprized to see she was from Housatonic as my family was also from there .Thoughts and prayers for you .She was fortunate to have such a special daughter .
