BINGHAM -- Karen Bingham, 39, of Brainard, N.Y., died suddenly Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007. Karen was born in Pittsfield and was raised in Brainard. For many years, she was employed as a licensed practical nurse by Barnwell Nursing Home in Valatie, N.Y. She was predeceased by her loving father, Claude W. Bingham Jr. She leaves her mother, Geneva Bingham; her maternal grandparents, Roy and Mary Herrick; her four children, Kelli (Luis) Aponte, Ginnie Coleman, Joseph Saviano Jr. and Shaun Saviano; grandchildren, Brionna Holt, Luis Aponte, Dylan Saviano, Jesus Aponte and Aviannah Fernandez. Karen also leaves her brothers, David (Marianne) Bingham, Gary (Tracy) Bingham, Lance (Traci) Bingham; her sister, Julie (David) Reichert; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at THOMAS P. MOONEY FUNERAL HOME, 11 Elm St., Nassau, N.Y., at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in Old Chatham Union Cemetery.
