Dear Betty and Family,
My children and I will always remember how nice you and Joan were to us: making dinner when I was sick, giving gifts to the children and just being plain kind. We are praying for you and Joan and wish you peace.

John, Bob & Tom,
I don't know if you remember me, but I grew up knowing your mother and father very well.
They were neighbors in Egremont and
we all enjoyed the times we had
with them.
Joan was a very lovely person. Good mother and hard worker.
I was lucky to know her.
It is too bad times pass so quickly.
I have very good memories of Jack and Joan Ryan from South Egremont.
Your father allowed me to start working weekends at WSBS when I was 14 years old.
My sympathy goes out to you all.
