Deborah Cartwright

Deborah Cartwright, 62, Bismarck, died March 29, 2009, at Marian Manor Care Center, Glen Ullin. Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Cremation has taken place.

Deborah Houghton Cartwright was born Aug. 28, 1946, at Bismarck, to Dr. John Thompson and Roberta (Patterson) Cartwright. She was raised and educated in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1965. Deborah worked in Minnesota for a dry cleaning establishment and was a receptionist. After moving back to Bismarck, she was employed with the State Highway Department as a file clerk.

Deborah is survived by her sister, Susan Cartwright Johnson, Las Vegas; her stepmother and her husband, Erna and Ed Lahr, Bismarck; three stepsisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Lou Dachtler and Jennifer and Lon Romsaas, all of Bismarck, and Becky and Allan Cooper, Missoula, Mont.; and her stepbrother and sister-in-law, David and Jan Martel, Washington.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents.
