Randy Greene was a very special person. When Kenny Levi and I came to Berea in the fall of 1974 to attend college Randy showed us the ropes. He introduced us to people on campus that I know to this day; he made us feel welcome in a place that, to me, was very long way from home. He shuttled us back and forth from Tryon to Berea many, many times in that old yellow Ford Mustang as we returned to be with our families, never once asking for gas money. What a true friend; I will miss him, he was a truly good human being. I never knew him trying to get over on anyone; He was always ready to lend his hand. I can say with all honesty I see him as a brother. Rest in peace Randy, you deserve it, brother.

I knew Randy Greene when he went to Berea College with my brother Jamie Edney. He was a really good friend to him. And after that I would see him around Columbus and he still had that shy smile and those beautiful blue eyes. He was a very good man.
