Dear Marjorie, Joseph, Sue and Charlie, I am glad you are surrounded by your family and friends. I know your hearts are heavy and you will miss your Mom terribly, but I am sure you have been able to share memories of the all the special moments you shared and take comfort in those memories. I was fortunate to have met your Mom during her San Francisco visits. My favorite memory is of her dancing New Years eve and the party pack she brought from Boston with noise makers, hats etc to make the evening festive. Thinking of you.

I became very fond of Gloria (and
Charlie) while taking care of Gloria on Yawkey 8..the chemo infusion unit. Gloria was a smart and realistic and engaging person who I came to adore. She dealt with her situation with humor and honesty. Not that many people are capable of facing her situation in the way she did. I respected her for that and wanted to do anything I could to make her comfortable. You have my sincere condolences. Lynn

Margie and Susan,
As you know, your mother was a wonderful, loving and caring person. As a model older sibling, she was always watching out for me too. Gloria has left us with happy memories and instilled in us the need to help those that have no one to help them get through the day with quality of life and dignity. She was a true nurse's, nurse. May her soul be bound up in the bond of life and may G-d comfort us among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. We pray that she rest in peace.

We have known cousin Gloria all our lives. As youngsters we visited her and her family frequently and spent holidays with them. Cousin Gloria was someone to look up to; more importantly, she always made us feel loved and important. She was the essence of "goodness." We are better people because we knew her.
