Pota treated my family as if it was her own. I remember coming back from a trip to Greece and Italy after not having seen her in years. She sat down for 2 hours looking at photos with Jen and I, and was genuinely interested in hearing about all of them. Her interest and compassion for others made the world around her a better place to be. For these gifts we thank her and will remember them always.
Love, Brandon, Jen and Evan Smith

This afternoon at the State House, a Senator gave a tribute to Pota & her ability to include people & to show her generousity of spirit. The tribute to her at the Greek Independence Day ceremony is so fitting. When the words of her kindness were expressed, I thought I would be glad to tell her; & then hearing the rest of the news, well, I think she would be glad to have touched so many & shared our Greek heritage and our Orthodoxy with everyone.
Love to her family & my sincere sympathy.
