Dear Judy, Betty and Cathy, I had the privilege of getting to know your mother through church. My sons would be the altar servers when she would be the Eucharistic Minister. She always interacted with them and was always eager to share a story or two about her wonderful grandchildren! My mother and mother-in-law met your mother in Catholic Daughters and said she was the nicest, kindest person they had ever met. She will be deeply missed.

My memories of Aunt Mae are that everytime I saw her she always was sincerely curious as to how my life was going, and if I was happy and doing well. Also, her and her children were by far the nicest, sweetest and kindest people in my patriarchial branch. I will forever miss her presence.
P.S., You're all nice....

Cathy, Judy, Betty and Families:

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Aunt Mae was a great lady; diginified, honest and true to the values of her time. I hope this time is made more bearable by the knowledge that she was loved, respected and admired by a large and gratful extended family.
I can still see her in the rear view mirror of the Labatts Blue van as we settled in for a "nap" at a car pull-off atop the hills at Gros Morne. I hope that my Ella Mae has the same zest for life.
