I knew Jimmy from Mission Grammar school and as student kitchen workers at Harvard Medical. He introduced me to Glenn Miller's music on McGreevey Way. One of the all-time nice guys.

Jimmy was just one of the greatest guys. He would do anything to help anyone. And I don't think he had a mean bone in his body. He always had something good to say about someone and nothing else.
I knew his mother and the rest of the family and they are all from one mold. It was a priviledge to know him. I am now in Michigan but had to acknowledge him. Please accept my sincere condolences. I wish that I had been able to see him before I left but that was not possible. The world has now lost another good one......
Sincerely,
Alice McLaughlin
