Dear Chico family: May your memories of your mother be beautiful and comforting. Your mother was one of the many sweet "Point" ladies growing up...may she rest in peace. Prayers to all of you.

it seems funny calling you Marie.....you were not really my nana but you were... so i will just keep it at that name.. NANA... I won't say the only reason why i went to Winthrop were for your strawberry cup cakes.. because i love joanne and naomi.. (and your cupcakes) one of the things i note about you was your voice... it had a strength to it... yet a softness at the same time... I am so sad to hear for everyone that you are gone... but i know you were with god... naomi told me a secret.. (not a bad one..LOL) but one that made me think if she feels that way.. then it is cool that i think that way sometimes 2... anyway... i am sure you are making cupcakes for like everyone in heaven starting with st peter.. on up... and i so bet you can keep a better eye on "the kids" from a distance in heaven... LOL.. anyways see you when i get there... and i so want that cup cake when i arrive.. .. big hugs nana and.. thank you so much for making me feel i could call you nana and not marie.. and for always making me feel at home... much love Lisa

Dearest Marie:
Your family and all who knew you, know how devoted you were to Him and that for all eternity, you will forever be in His company.
We will miss you, but are grateful and happy to know you will be together with your beloved husband Ochi, and your father you spent so many years caring for.
My prayers are with you.
You will always hold a special place in my heart.
