Always in my thoughts. It's been almost 2 years and it seems like yesterday that we were talking and laughing.

A Reminiscence

YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.

May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.

Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;

To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.

It doesn't seem like a year since I last saw you silly grin, heard your laughter and stood by your hospital bed. You are never far from my thoughts. John, Johnny & Andrew had a tough year but have accomplished much. I know you are proud of them. You are truly missed. Love,

Jackie

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

"Till we meet again"
It was such a pleasure geting to know Linda our friend she was a special kind of lady, A truly rare blend.....A blend of what makes one feel good, Safe and secure she worked hard always helping out looking to do more she cherished her husband John, and their wonderful sons Johnny and Andrew.
She always accommodated them, Doing wharever they wanted to do.
Linda showed me a picture of her sweet sisters, All six saying they're all nice, A little funny and a rare mix you could not put a price on her friendship or her trust as just being yourself was positively a certain must a best friend to Donna for sure, and she always will be she'll never, ever, be forgotten by you, me, and thee. Linda didn't care about cost, as she just wanted to please, She liked to laugh and be bossy and a bit of a tease...so, If, we all feel we must weep, then so let it be but, remember she has gone to save a place for you & me now, as sure as the doves have begun their flight, while guiding her all the way into the bright light, God is with Linda, so 'Till we meet again" my friend this is not good bye, as Its another beginning and not the end. Lets hold on to our memories.

Linda,
Sadly you have left all of us, we all will miss you. I don't understand why you had to go. Life is never fair. You have touched so many people in your lifetime. You gave so much. Your boys Johnny and Andrew are a reflection of you and John and are such good children. My only problem is how to keep Donna in line, I'll try, but you left big shoes to fill. God Bless your family and someday we all will be together.
Love you,
Joanne

Mrs. S, you were so beautiful. You welcomed everyone in as if they were your own. I still remember the worst night of my life and how you brought me in and made me laugh and washed my clothes and took care of me. And I still remember how you came to get me in 8th grade for Annie when I was stuck alone in the snow. And I remember how you still had a sense of humor to the end. And how you raised two beautiful boys whom, as much as I thought (and hoped) it would never happen, have grown up to be strong young men. I still find myself looking at one everyday and wondering how such an amazing person can exist. And it was you. You brought so much joy into all the lives around you. And for this, you will never be forgotten. I'm sorry I never got to say this but... I love you Mama S. And I always will.
