Of West Newton, May 24th, 2008. Beloved wife for 47 years to (Ret.) Newton Police Department Captain John T. Parker. Devoted mother of Steven T. Parker of Newton, Maureen Westlund and her husband Carl of Waltham, and the late Michael J. Parker. Dear sister of Carole Mulcahy of Newton. Cherished grandmother of Brad & Amy Westlund. Funeral Services will be held from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Marilyn's life at Saint Bernard Church, 1523 Washington St., West Newton at 10:30 a.m. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend.
