I am traveling on business and could not be there for the wake and funeral. Rita was a warm fun loving person with a great laugh and sense of humor.Ihave been reflecting on your loss and and reliving all the great memories of Rita and all of us growing up in the neighborhood. She will surely be missed. I hope to see each of you soon to express my condolences in person.

I only knew Rita for a short time, but every time I saw her, she made me smile. She made each visit special and I felt right at home. I am deeply saddened by her passing, but know she is happy in Heaven with friends and family.Boston has lost an amazing women and she will certainly be missed. My prayers are with you and your family

I will never forget Rita whistling for Charlie from her porch all the way to the fishing hole at Fresh Pond. i also remember her driving her girlfriends every single day to shop, go to restaurants, hair dressers, church and living her life to the fullest. A remarkable woman who was truly loved by all.

I was deeply saddened today when I heard you had lost your mother.In the years I have lived on High Street, your mother was a wonderful neighbor! She was always warm, gracious, and ready to lend a hand and a good friend to my Mom and Dad. I feel fortunate to have known her.I am thinking of you and send my heartfelt sympathy.
