Jane Hart Obituary

Of Chestnut Hill, formerly of Durham, NC, and Hartford, CT on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at age 74. For 51 years, she was the beloved wife of the late Sheldon L. Hart. Devoted mother of Deborah & her husband Ruben Klein of Brookline, Richard Hart & his wife Lori of Hudson, OH, and Jacqueline & her husband Robert Trestan of Needham. Adored and adoring grandmother of Jacob, Benjamin, Alexander, Betsy, Levi and Remi. Dear sister of Carol Rosen and her husband Barry of Hartford, CT, Deanne Jackson of Atlanta, GA, and Barbra Lurie of San Francisco, CA. Graduate of Wellesley College class of 1954 and the University of North Carolina School of Law class of 1991. Services at Temple Israel, 477 Longwood Ave., Boston on Sunday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. (Parking available on the Riverway). Burial in the Roxbury Mutual Cemetery, Woburn. Shiva at the home of Deborah and Ruben Klein on Sunday following the interment through 7:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday 10 a.m.-12 noon and 4-7 p.m., and Wednesday 10 a.m.-12 noon. Donations in her memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6 Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226 or Wellesley College Friends of Art, c/o Nancy Gunn, 106 Central St., Wellesley, MA 02481-8203. Although not seen lately, Jane was a respected member of the Needham Senior Bridge Group meeting on Thursday afternoons at the Senior Center. On behalf of all her friends who played with her, I (as director) want to express my sincerest condolences to her family.
