In East Boston, formerly of Arlington, May 31. Beloved husband of Maureen V. (Cochrane). Son of the late John and Rita Gilligan. Loving brother of John and Teresa Gilligan of Grafton, Ann and Robert Percuoco of Billerica, Patricia and Richard Lynch of Tyngsboro, Robert and Susan Gilligan of Londonderry, NH and Janet and David Gardner of Littleton. Son-in-law of Vivian and Joseph Cochrane of East Boston. Dear brother-in-law of Judith and Robert Gray of East Boston, Nancy and Joseph Giuffre of Winthrop. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. (at Day Sq) EAST BOSTON, Thursday morning at 10. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. Late 28 year employee of the US Postal Service. Donations in his memory to either the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Pl. W, Brookline 02445 or Mass. Down's Syndrome Congress, Box 866, Melrose 02176 would be appreciated. Indoor parking and entrance available from 340 Bremen St.
