Joan Giroux Obituary

Of Wellesley, formerly of Weston and West Dennis, June 11, 2008 beloved wife of 55 years of Eugene X. Giroux, Esq. Devoted mother of Susan and her husband Timothy J. Dee of Wellesley, E. Mark Giroux and his wife Susan of Andover and Jacqueline and her husband James E. Brooks of Wellesley. Loving Grandmother of Timothy, Matthew and Caroline Dee, Christopher and Nicole Giroux and Brendan and Madeline Brooks. Sister of Warren G. and J. Leo Gagan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joan was a graduate of Lesley College and prior to her marriage taught second grade in Dedham and Arlington. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Pauls Church, 502 Washington St. Wellesley on Thursday June 19, at lOAM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment services are private. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Joans memory to the Franciscan Childrens Hospital, 30 Warren St. Brighton, Ma. 02135.
