Cherished father of John "Moon" of South Boston, Leo of Milton and Anne Strickland of Millis. Honored father-in-law of David Strickland. Adored grandfather of David and Brittney Strickland, Laura Struzziery and Adam, Christina and Lisa Fetherston. Brother of Godfrey of Plymouth and the late Leo, May, Veronica Lane, Emmet and Patricia Brady. Late retired Chief Storekeeper at Boston City Hospital. World War II Veteran, U.S. Army. Member of the Cyril P. Morrisette Post. Funeral from the P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY on Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in the Holy Name Church, West Roxbury at 9 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday, 4-8 PM. Interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
