I am so sad that David is no longer with you. I am currently commuting to Sherman, TX and did not arrive home until late Thursday night and apologize for not being with you for the wake or funeral. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the process of putting your lives back together. Please let me know if I can help in any way.

Dave was such a sweet nephew to my mother, Mollie. I'm so sad to read of his death. I have no doubt that the wonderful Looney clan will wrap their arms around all of you- and I know from experience, how comforting that can be.My prayers are with you.

Dearest Looney Family,
How sad to loose a loved one and me a good friend! Over the many years, we laughed and joked about BC, the wins, the losses, and the Tail Gate Parties. We discussed our business, and shared thoughts, and better ways to survive in a failing economy. We worked as competitors but also as close friends, and team mates. We had some great times, and we have some great memories. I, and my wife, are so sorry we can not be down in Mass, to pay our respects. We just can't get there in time. Our hearts hurt at the loss of a great friend, and business associate. Our heartful prayers go out to all of your family and especially to Dave Jr., Dan, and the crew at Copley. We are here if you need us, as always!
Your friends,

Dear Grace, David & Rosemary, I am so sad to hear that David died. My father Hank, called to let tell me. Don and I can't come to the hours because we are visiting our daughter India in Chicago. Hank is really sad he can not come as he has had an aggravation of his knee and is flat on his back and can't travel. This is beginning to sound like a novel. Our thoughts are with you .Much love, Randy Kehlenbeck Menninghaus

I knew Dave for only a short time. I went to some golf tournaments with him. I much enjoyed being with him and the Forrest Hills gang. A fine man, a good man. May he rest in the peace and comfort of our Lord.
