Elizabeth Wright Obituary

90, passed away on June 10, 2008 at Benjamin Healthcare Center, Boston, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Clara Wright and her sister Doris Donovan. She is survived by a brother Creighton Wright and his wife Dee of Roanoke, VA, nephews Todd Donovan and his wife Paula, Bill Wright and his wife Sally, niece Nancy Papard and her husband Vinnie and all their children and good friend Ruth Mansfield. She was born September11, 1917 in Chazy, NY and spent her early years in Yonkers, NY. She graduated from Barnard College and Western Reserve University and was a social worker for many years at St Lukes Hospital and Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center both in New York City (NYC). She was a long time member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in NYC and was very active in organizing their soup kitchen. She moved to Boston, MA in 1997 to take care of her sister and at that time she became active in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. She spent her whole life helping the unfortunate. The family would like to thank the staff of Benjamin Healthcare Center for their loving and devoted care. A short memorial service will he held on July 13, 2008, during the regular 10:30 am service at St Stephen's Episcopal Church, 419 Shawmut Ave., Boston, MA 02118. Memorials may be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Arrangements by Rogers Funeral Home, Cambridge
