John Fay Obituary

of West Roxbury, formerly of Brookline died peacefully at his home on June 28, 2008 at age 72. Beloved husband for 50 years to Lorraine (Perry) Fay. Loving father of Cheryl and her husband Peter MacGillivary of Westwood, Shawn Fay and his wife Cheryl of Westwood, Greg Fay and his wife Wendy of Foxboro, Joanne and her husband Doug Hall of Westwood, Karen Fay of Foxboro and Stephen Fay and his wife Shannon of Westwood. Loving brother of Mary and her husband Henry Ewanouski and the late David and his wife Ann. Proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and the late Tyler John Fay. Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St.BROOKLINE Monday morning at 9:10am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption church at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday 2-8 pm. Interment Walnut Hills Cemetery, Brookline. U.S. Army Veteran Korean Conflict. Jackie was a retired Brookline Police Officer for 36 years and a lifetime member of the Elks. In lieu of flowers donations in Jackie's memory may be made to St. Mary's Building Fund, 5 Linden Place, Brookline, 02146 or Partners Hospice, 281 Winter St. Stuite 200, Waltham MA 02154.
