Of Belmont, July 3, 2008. Beloved husband of Mary (Spilios) Demers. Loving father of George "Buddy" Demers, Jr. and his wife Janet of Belmont. Cherished grandfather of Alexander Demers of Brooklyn, NY. Brother of the late Panula Pappas and Leta Assimas. Visiting hours in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, Sunday, July 6 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, (cor. of Parker & Ruggles Sts.), on Monday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. I'm sorry to hear of George's passing. I worked with him at the east village nursing home for a few years in the activities department. I will miss his smile and laugh the most. Please know that i'm thinking of you during this difficult time
