Age 81. Wife of the late Charles "Red" Hoffman, former Lynn Item Sports Editor. Mother of Michael P. Hoffman of Greenfield, MA, Peggy T. Pedro & her husband Frank of Cambridge, Patricia A. Knight & her husband Wayne, Sr. of Lynn, Retired Swampscott Police Officer, John P. Hoffman of Swampscott, Peter J. Hoffman & his wife Fraser of Tucson, AR, and the late James M. Hoffman. Sister of Benjamin A. Reid of Ft. Smith, AR, Gloria T. Stewart of Bloomfield Hills, MI & the late Patricia A. O'Sullivan and Alfred "Sonny" Reid. Grandmother of Wayne, Jr., Christopher, Wendy, Casey, Alicia, Jessica, Jamie, Valerie, Matthew, Mary Kate and Rachel. She also leaves six great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late James M. Hoffman and the sister of the late Patricia A. O'Sullivan and Alfred "Sonny" Reid. Sister-in-law of Eleanor & Eric Whyte, John & Jean Hoffman, all of Lynn. Her funeral will be held from the Solimine, Landergan & Richardson Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. (Rt 1A) LYNN on Wednesday at 10AM, followed by Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott at 11AM.
