Dear Mary,Mark & Peter, This may be the last entrie I am putting on this site. It will be closed as of July 11, 2009....Michael is doing good still in Colorado Springs,CO. Training & working in The ARMY....... Just wanted to wish all of you A HAPPY 4th of July..At least all of you are together. ...I love & miss you All. Dear Mark,"HAPPY FATHERS DAY" It took me a few days, I can't believe its was a year on June 22,2009 your brother Peter passed away. Michael & I were talking the other day about Pete., & gramma Mary. If you all were still around you would all be very proud of him and all he's accomplished in the last year. Michael is in Colorado Springs,CO. still working & training very hard. I'm so PROUD of him. Dear Mark, Just wanted to share with you.,update about Michael..He is in Colorado Springs,Co still doing some training & school...Do you believe he's been in the ARMY a year already on June 9,2008...I am so proud of him & all he's accomplished this past year.Even though he's been through alot He made it. Dear Pete, I can't believe its been almost a year next month you left us all. Michael is doing so good you would have been so proud of him. He is still in Colorado He got so many promotions, and will be going to another base soon for Airburne school,so he isn't being deployed..yet... again! I wish he could just stay in training. He was mentioning you the other day,and how he always beat you @ basketball and Renee would laugh at you both,which was having me thinking of you, your brother & grandmother, Please watch over Michael for me. Hello Mary,Mark & Peter. Today was a very hard day for me as Michael went back to his Army base @ Fort Carson Colorado Springs,CO. It was a short 12 days he was here I enjoyed every moment with him while he visited.Michael never sat still was jogging everyday, running out at night with his friends, Nikki & I had a nice Irish day for Michael I made so much food on St.Patricks day he loves his Irish bread too.Well I'll keep you posted, as he should be back tonight in Colorado.I hugged him so much and told him I'll see him soon,I didn't want to let him go.I'm so proud of him. I miss you all....

Hello Mary, Mark, & Peter, Today Michael came home safely to Boston. I went to Saint Patricks day parade. MICHAEL met us @ Castle Island. after the parade. We all came back home ,. He's gone out with friends tonight being 21 he can now offically drink in Boston.He looks so great. you all would be so proud. xoxox & miss you all

Dear Mark, Michael called yesterday he's home from bein over seas for awhile in Iraq....finally is back in USA . He Left baghdad by helicopter to Kuwaiton sat.1 am & got on several airplanes many stopovers @ Germany, Ireland, Maine, Newyork, Arizona, Then back to FT. Carson, Colorado Springs CO. "'HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETER", I was just thinking about you, Mark & your Grandmother the other day.As last year was such a hard year for everyone, I still think I'm going to pick up the phone & chat with grandma Mary.,or you and tell you how well Michael is doing, You all would be very proud of him right now.Last week I talked to Michael,its always so nice to just hear his voice,I send him care packages which he loves anything from home "BOSTON". Michael misses everyone and will be back soon from IRAQ in March 2009....THANK GOD this war will be over, he'll come home for about 30 days then head back out to Ft.Carson in Colorado Springs ,Co. He still has 3 more yrs to go. as he's in 4 yrs. I miss him so much he is so brave I'm so proud of all his done in last 6 months & since you've all left him I can't imagine how he feels, as he holds everthing in, but I know he loved you,your brother & grandmother dearly ................ I talked to your mother the other day, its still so hard for her, especially the last few "holidays'" just passed by. . I will be calling Rene too as I have a picture of Michael to send her,it was 1 of him on his graduation day back in Oct.2008....Just recieved them. they came out nice of him in his full Uniform. you guys are always in my heart. peace xoxox Laurie

Mark & Peter, "2009" "HAPPY NEW YEAR" I heard from Michael the other day,thank god for computers,thats how we stay in touch. He says he's fine,he's still in Iraq. Outside he's always on watch patrol.......walking and stuff for miles with no sleep.I 'm so proud of him I don't know how he does it.,Please watch over him & Pray for his safe return home(March 16,2009).Please make this a better year. Hello Mark, Today is Veterans Day, I talked to Michael this morning.He said he's doing great. I'm so proud of him. he's 21 yrs old now.He will probably be going to California Dec. 6th for a few weeks of training, then be back to Ft. Carson @ Colorado Springs,Co. Dear Mark, Michael & I came by your grave the 1st day he came home.He was sad as he remembered last time he was there it was for granny Mary...I think know he has some closure,he said a pray. its still hard on him. He was very strong. been through so much intense training last 16 wks. Michael was only here for a short 7 days,.he talked to Gramama Joan.He was so busy running all around while he was back. Peter you would have been so proud to see him ,he called Rene too. Yesterday was a very had day for me as I drove him to airport, and now he's going to be stationed in Ft. Carson,Colorado Springs,CO. We had a long talk at airport & lunch, we did not say goodbye but see you soon to each other..of course I balled my eyes out after, then lefted the airport, headed straight to my favorite spot & walked around Castle Island in Southie to clear my head.It was so cold. Was up half the night waiting for Michael to call. of course got no call ,today though Michael did call me around 4:30pm. our time here in Boston... was about 2:30pm Colorado time/ he had a couple of classes in day was briefed..says he was fine.... there all mountains surrounding him. he says its so beautiful there. a few buddies.of his were there from his boot camp. Hello Mark, Michael came home from Ft. Benning, GA. Friday ,Oct. 10,2008. He was happy to be home a few days now.REST. also yesterday we went by to visit You Pete,& grandmother Mary.. Dear Pete, Its been 3 months today, you passed away. Michael called yesterday, we were talking about you.& all the memories he's shared with his favorite uncle (you) through the years. You have lost alot, I always knew you were a good kid, and always respectful, and you have been going through some really rough and tough times, but I knew you would pull thru.
