Peter Durham Pingree

Of Andover, died July 7, at age 72. Former Teacher in Lawrence, and Programmer at I.R.S. in Andover. Beloved son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Maconi) Pingree. Survived by two siblings, Sarah and her husband Mike Dousa of Andover, John and his wife Teresa Pingree of NC and FL; a sister-in-law, Isabelle Pingree of R.I.; two nieces, Anne Smith of MD, Amanda Pingree of Switzerland; a grand niece, Hilary Smith; and a grand nephew, Matthew Smith. He was also brother of the late David Pingree. Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday morning from 10:30 until 11:30 in the Free Christian Church, 31 Elm St., Andover Center. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 in the church. Private burial will be held Thursday in Providence, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472, will be appreciated. Arrangements are through the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home in ANDOVER.
