Not a day goes by that I don't think of you Tony. You were like a grandfather to me. I still check in on Joey to make sure he's doing okay for you. I know how important that was to you. I look at him like a little brother. I miss you more than I ever thought was possible. Those last days in the hospital with you were so hard for me, but I am glad to have gotten to spend time with you and your family. You have had a huge impact on this city and my life, its crazy, it really is. I love you Tony, and I will cherish the memories we shared for the rest of my life.

Rest In Peace

I am sure he was a great husband, father and grandfather. I was blessed to have him in my life for a short time. Prayers are with family and friends.

When kids on Wordsworth Street were playing, if Tony was leaving his house or going in, he would always stop for a minute or two to throw a ball around. It was 1964 when he first threw a ball to me (which I promptly dropped).

I will always remember Tony as a great guy. May he rest in peace with his mother and father.

Thank you everyone for your words. My father would fall on his knees with joy to see how much people really love him. He was a man of boston, he was boston. Worked for the city, worked for the redsox, and worked for all of us. Taught me and almost everyother kid how to play sports. He can now rest with his father Gunga and mother Anna. god bless their souls and, DAD, we will all miss you. I LOVE YOU, YOUR SON, MICHAE!!!!!!

If I could tell you now I would say....
Of all people you did not deserve this and you will be missed. I wish I had the opprtunity to have you in my life and my son's life on a continual basis and for that I am sad. You were a vivacious person who brought a lot of joy to many inner city kids. Rest in peace my dear ex-father in law. I can still see your smile from here. I will always remember your laughter and jokes.
It seems like yesterday when I sat at the table with you and Lorraine with Michael to tell you I was pregnant. I was so scared. I have given you your very first grandchild who is the spitting image of you. Please watch over him and keep him safe.

Tony was an amazing fella'. It's terrible that he is no longer with us. As far back as I can remember Tony was there; for sports and as a wonderful neighbor. It's a shame that he will no longer be there behind home plate singing and humming his one of a kind tunes or standing beside the dugout cheering everyone on with his Yankee/Boston hats. Every time I step outside to walk the grounds of Brandywyne or any diamond he will be thought of and always respected. He's one of a kind and will be missed, though forever will he live on.

Tony: Rest in peace, we love and will always miss you. You could never be replaced. ♥
