Jack was my brother-in-law, dear friend, and remains my brother in Christ. In the midst of heartache, the comfort is knowing he is mercifully in the presence of our Lord and Savior, free from the weight of this world.

As Carolyn's sister, the aunt of their children, and friend to his family in KY, I would ask that you keep them all in prayer during this most challenging time. Jack is deeply missed!

Jack B. Howard has acomplished many great things, but he remained the same humble young boy, kind and gentle young man as he was when growing up in Tompkinsville, Ky. To us his friends in Monroe Co. and other Ky. counties that knew him, he will always be JUST JACK BENNY.

I didn't know this man but was scrolling through the obits and was so impressed with Mr. Howard's accomplishments I wanted to leave a note of sympathy for his family. He was certainly a giant in his field because there aren't too many from Kentucky that make it to school at MIT, much less being a professor. Kudos to the family for being related to someone of this stature.

Warm thought and loving prayers. Jack was a friend for some 50 years. He stayed with us in our home one summer while he and my brother Dave worked while UK students. I visited his home and had the pleasure of meeting the family. Jack was a fantastic person.
