Dear Ethel and Family,
We are sad to hear of the loss of our dear Paul. He gave me a break when he hired me onto the HSDM faculty in 1971 and I am forever grateful. His legacy lives on in the lives of the people he helped and promoted. Your loss is our loss.

Dear Ethel, I want to express my deepest sympathy. Paul was really a good friend and colleague of mine for 44 years. I will miss his nice letters to me in Sweden.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't know Dr. Paul Goldhaber personally, but his son, Dr. Samuel Goldhaber, was responsible for saving my life in 1999. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very difficult time.

Dear Ethel and Sam, Sunny and I want to extend you our our deepest sympathies. We only knew Paul as a neighbor, but his soft spoken wisdom, encouragement, and kindliness made even a brief encounter memorable. Seeing him out on his walk and having the chance to chat was always the highlight of any morning. His legacy is very rich, and we will miss him very much. Shalom
