Well ma, today finalized the 58+ years I knew you. I know dad is missing you more , and he's being a real trooper, holding up well. It's funny how little things just popped up in my memory, I guess brought on by emotion, but little things like looking up while in class in the 5th grade at St. Johns and looking over at our apartment windows across Lewis St and seeing you sitting there just watching. I don't know how long you were watching but I remember smiling and waving and seeing you wave back and smile back I now know is priceless. I'm not sure why I thought of that today at the funeral, but it will always be in my mind along with many other little things, like the time I got shipped off to the air force, seeing you and dad out of the window of the bus as it was pulling away is another emotional high point that will last with me. I could go on, but these are just two of the remote memories that suddenly popped into mind today. I will always remember and love you.
Your son, Greg

To my second family:
Auntie Mary will be missed a great deal in all our hearts. She was the best Godmother anyone could ask for. It seems like God is taking all my mother figures this year. He must have a plan for them in heaven. I love you all even though there is miles between us.

Love Jayne
