I just wanted to say that I think of you, and of how much you meant to your family and friends. I can't imagine what it is to be loved so much as you are, Debbie.
Your family still mourns your going - every day, every hour - and always will, I suspect.
I see the tears in their eyes on days when you are particularly remembered, for your kind ways, and for everything you did to make others happy.
Now, you come to us only in our dreams and memories, but still, we so cherish those fleeting visits from you, and only wish they could last forever.

I was in the newsletter club with Debbie a few years ago. Also she was in group E with me and we all went to CApe Cod together for a weekend. She was always very sweet and a good contributer to the newsletter. I was shocked to hear the news. My sympathy goes out to her parents.

I got to know Debbie through her many years of involvement with Springboard. She LOVED whitewater rafting, enjoyed writing, and was not afraid to express her joy and enthusiasm. She not only shared her excitement over her own growing family, but always asked about mine, and even remembered the names of my family members! Debbie was lovely, and will be greatly missed by me and her many, many friends at Springboard.

Debbie was the best of the best as was so beautifully described by her sister Lee at Debbie's funeral today. I know how close your family is and I know that the love and strength you have for one another will help you all through this difficult time. You have also got friends who love you and will be there for you. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I as well knew Debbie from Springboard. She was such sweet a lady. Always had a smile. I will miss her running up to me instead of saying hi she would show me photos of her niece and nephew. Debbie; thank you for making me feel welcome to group E. I will miss your smile and your laughter. You truly are someone REALLY special.

Debby,
Your courage, strengh, and beauty have raised many up to walk on stormy seas. We were all lucky to have had the opportunity to have some one in our lives that cares, and was kind enough to show it. You will be forever loved and missed.

My name's John, I knew Debbie for 15 years in Springboard, the social group she was in. I can't express my sadness in her passing away, I like a lot of people in Springboard are shocked by this sad news, God's speed to her family in this tough time. Debbie was the same age as I am (39) and she started a month before I joined in 1993. I am glad I got to know her and I know she's in a place where she will always be happy.

Small Song
Raised up from love by God to call
to peace and trials, noble all
and soaring mighty, meek and small.
Who knows what blessed thing this is
which goes beyond before it gives
the universe of faith it lives?
Time gone, and here, and yet to be,
the joys one soul has yet to see
for time within eternity.
God's love reborn, with grace to bring
the light of hope, this humble thing
to that quiet place where angels sing.

I met Debbie only twice,
but I'll never forget her fierce love
and the courage in her eyes -
And a spirit so beautiful, that it now lights the stars.
