Janis was a dear friend of mine. We grew up in Campbellsport and went to HighSchool together. I have so many good memories. She was a loving Mom, Grandma and friend. She will be sadly missed.

It seems like yesterday, Janis was bounceing my my children on her knee. Janis got laughter out of me and my children so often. We have the blankets she knited to this day, they are still strong, Janis was a awesome at her craft.
I go back to the days of Decatur Ave and Rhode Island, Jans cookies were the best and she always had a picture of home made lemonade or punch at ready.
I love her for her dry sense of humor, many times she said to me something I did not get at first, a hour latter I erupted in laughter after realizing what she had said. A smart lady, Janis is the perfect example of a lady. Classy, smart and witty, the next world will be blessed for her presense. This world has a huge loss for her passing. I'll never forget Janis's smile and witt!
If I get to heaven I'll look for Janis's grin.
All of our love to her children and freinds. GOD bless Janis, Dick and all who love her.

My thoughts and prayers to Jan's family. A very wonderful woman that I only knew for the last year and a half of her life but how fortunate we were to have our paths cross. she was my parents best friend. I will always remember my very special friend.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Janis. We have been very close friends for over 60 years, Bob, my husband for longer than that. Janis, Dick and Bob and myself became engaged on the same night. Our families spent many memorable days and nights together. Dick and Jan are sadly missed by us.

My memories of Janis are some of my earliest recollections. She and Dick were the Prairie Avenue neighbors and dear friends of my mom and dad, Nancy and Harold Stohlgren. On a hot summer day, Janis would pull out some old wash tubs she had, fill them to the brim (at least that's how I remember it) with cool water, and Marty and I would splash around and pretend to 'swim.' My deepest sympathies to all of you. Hold on to the sweet memories of your mother, I'm sure there are many.

My sympathies to Janice's family. I haven't seen Janice in many years, but we both grew up in Campbellsport, WI and shared many experiences while we were in high school. I was older than she and moved to California, so we went on our separate ways. She was a classmate of my sister, Carolyn (Weber) Leininger.

Before I met my Cousin Janis for the first time, my mother (her aunt) said, "You're going to love Janis. She is simply charming." My mother was entirely correct. My favorite memories are of our marathon phone coversations. She was 20 years older than I, but I found in her a real friend. I am a teacher, and Janis taught for a while and volunteered in the classroom. We enjoyed listening to one another's stories about the funny, challenging, sometimes heart-breaking, and often uplifting adventure of working with students. Janis also enjoyed talking about her beloved children and grandchildren. I already miss her very much.

Jan was one of my favorite people. She'd always have a smile and usually a little bag of cookies as she would come to get her mail while I was in the mailroom delivering. We shared a lot of stories and had a lot of laughs. What a great lady who cared about everybody - that was the true "teacher" spirit in her. Although I haven't seen her much recently (because I bid off of her route) whenever I did see her it was always good to see her and chat about the good ole days.
My Sympathy to her family and friends - I know you will miss her - I will.
God Bless You
