We just heard today of Allen's death and send our sincere sympathy to his family. My husband Bob MacLeod talks about what a great guy Allen was and how much he appreciated the great rapport he had with him. Not only did he have Allen as a student at LHS, but later ,when Allen was Director of Public Works and Bob was Athletic Director they worked together on many projects.

Sincerely, Lucy MacLeod

Mr. Caproni was my basketball coach for many years and later went on to coach my sisters. He was always quick with a smile or advice and we always appreciated how much he loved being with us on the court.

He will definitely be missed, he was a great man.

Allen was a special friend and boss. We grew up togther in Lynnfield and worked together for 10 years in North Reading. He was one of the people who allowed for me to transition from being a Real Estate Appraiser to being an Assessor. I will always be greatful his insights and support and will miss him.
