Ellie, I want to thank you for being Lianns guardian angel when she had her accident. She could've been more seriously hurt than she was and I know it was you who protected her. I'll always be sad that you are gone, and think of you fondly.

Nana, I miss you so much. It hurts. I have to agree with Rosemary that I miss your laugh and our talks. I miss the only person who has truly ever understood me. I have so much to tell you about this year and everything. I love you!

Ellie, I miss you every day. We had so much fun in drum corps. We could just share a look and know what we were each thinking. You were taken from all of us too soon. I miss your laugh, our talks, and just being with you. It's been almost a year, and I still can't believe it. Keep practicing up there, honey, and I'll see you again some day.
Love,
Rosemary

Nana, I miss you. You're my best friend and I will never forget you. It is August 12, 2008, 11:57 P.M. In 2 hours and 3 minutes it will be exactly one month. It hurts. You are such an amazing person. I don't want to have to wait a lifetime to see you. I love you.

We went from St. Patrick's through to high school graduation with Ellie. She was fun, she lit up a room, her laugh was contagious, and certainly will always be remembered practicing for her jazz routine for the high school production. We have many fond memories or our adventures with the nuns of St Pats, the May processions, and the lovely school uniforms not to mention the "girls" side of the playground vs the boys
In sympathy and friendship

Nathan, Jared, Aaron; It has been a few years since I last saw you all and I was shocked to say the least to hear about your mother's passing. Your mom always made bad times good and good times better. Time and distance has never made the love and fond memories I have of the Dube family diminish. I am glad to hear that the family has expanded because there are a lot of people who need the type of joy you all bring to the world. This joy is a true testament to all that your mom gave you. She will be truly missed. You and your families remain always in my prayers.

Ellie,
It is comforting to know that you are with your father that you have missed for so many years and of course your mother and our dear aunts too. We had such fun growing up together. Even though I moved away, we still managed to keep in touch. My deepest sympathy to your sons and their families. i know how much they meant to you.

Some of my fondest childhood memories include time spent with my Godmother, Ellie. She took me sledding, to the beach, movies and we just had fun each & everytime. For my birthdays, she gave me fun, interesting and unusual gifts that was so typical of her. I cherished each one dearly. I remember her excitement when each of her boys were born. Outings when the boys were young were always an adventure - - she relished their youthful exuberance. She couldn't contain her excitement when, years later, each of her grandchildren were born. It is so hard to think of her as gone - - and I think because of her spirit, she never will truly be gone. It was a gift she gave to so many. I think she would have been immensely proud of her boys during this incredibly difficult time. They found a beaurtiful way to honor her, enablling all her friends and family, from all walks of life to connect in some deeply meaningful way. From the reception at the funeral home to the music by her drum corps friends and the party back at Nathan & Laura's house, it was a day for each of us to remember Ellie as we each knew her. She will remain a lasting influence in my life. All my best to Nathan, Jared & Aaron and their families and to my Godfather Bobby & his family during this very sad time.

Ellie,
I don't remeber you much, but I know you were good friends with my mom and family, and you bought me my first dress the day I was born. I wish I knew you more now that I am older and can remeber more, unlike when I was just little kid and didn't remeber much. But I'll never forget you, you will always be in my family's heart.

Ellie, you have been a best friend to my little girl since I can remember. You introduced her to her love of drum corps., writing, reading, old movies, and so many different things, that helped to make her the person that she is today.
You will be greatly missed, but remembered always, especially at every event that Taylor spins at, as we will all think of your influence on her as she prospers and grows.
