Dear Papa,
I love you and miss you very much. I know that you are happier up there and that god will take care of you. I can't express the sadness and grief that came with your death, but things will get better soon. Don't worry about any of us we will take care of eachother and help eachother get through this. I will miss seeing your smile and I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye one last time. I hope you are happier up there. Love Jessica

Papa,
I loved to just sit and talk to you. You had a love and passion for all things but most of all your family. From Pearl to Kimmie and everyone in between. A lot of less strong men would of given in sooner but not you! I know you'll miss Pearl, Mcdonald's, the Red Sox and all of us, but not as much as we'll miss you. Your love and passion will live in all of us forever.

Dear Papa ,
These past couple of days have been hard without you :( . It all happened so suddenly and it was just like a bomb had hit us. You'll always be in our hearts no matter what. Right now though we're trying to think about the memories we had with you to try to cheer us up a bit. Now that you're gone though all i can say is I miss you and that I love you very much. Rest in Peace
Love your great grandaughter,
Julia

Dear Papa,

God reached out for your hand many times in the past, and you always pushed it away. You fought to stay with us a bit longer, for that is what we wanted. I am thankful that you were so brave to take it this time and we will be brave in letting you go. You will be missed more than you can imagine and I will count the days until I can see you again. Please look over my family as you had always looked over me. I love you Papa, you were my family, my friend, my hero and my savior. You will be in my thoughts everyday as usual. I will not say good-by for I will see you again!!! I love you!
