Of North Reading, formerly of Winchester, July 19, 2008, age 73. Beloved husband of 48 years to Mary A. (Mood) Nelson. Loving father of Paul A. Nelson, Jr. of North Reading and Kathleen Udall and her husband Michael of CT. Brother of Neal K. Nelson of NH, Eileen Duffy of Reading, Shirley Crawford of ME and Linda Angell of Haverhill. Brother-in-law of Lorraine Moe and her husband Harry of Malden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., NORTH READING on Wednesday, July 23 at 10 AM. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to: VNA of Middlesex-East & Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880.
