Emma Stewart Obituary

Of Quincy, passed away July 18, 2008, age 81, surrounded by all her loving children. She was born in Boston on March 29, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Caterina (Baggi) and Leo Ghilardi, originally from Sorisole, Italy. The family later returned to Italy for 6 years. Emma grew up in Dorchester and lived in Boston before moving to Quincy over 30 years ago. Loving mother of John Stewart and partner Olivier Andre of Boston, Lisa Stewart and partner Wally Rios, Joseph Stewart and wife Peggy, all of Braintree, James Stewart of Quincy, Sharon and husband Donald Gouthro of Braintree, Kathryn and husband Patrick Castelli of Medford, Walter Stewart of Quincy and Suzanne and husband Guido Zambelli of Sorisole, Bergamo, Italy. Loving "Nana" to Lisa, Jessica, David, Chad, Todd, April, Paul, Colin, Alex, Jackie, Joey and Ethan. Great "Nana" of Jennifer, Marco, Devin and Anna. Great great "Nana" of Andrea. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Wednesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Thomas More Church, Braintree at 9 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
