At the funeral yesterday, I thought of the reading I read at my own mother's funeral. I hope it gives you comfort.
"...the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace." (Wisdom 3: 1-4)
Prudy was a wonderful woman and she left this world a better place than she found it. She was so proud of her beloved son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. She may have looked like a tiny little bird, but she was a woman of enormous strength and energy. I will miss her.
My love to all of you.

My deepest sympathies go to the Zahn family. Heather would speak of her grandmother with great fondness and gave us updates on her illness and hospital stay. You will miss her for sure but she'll remain forever in your hearts. She is at peace, may her memory be eternal.
