Joan M. Whealan

Of Randolph died July 21, 2008, at home, at the age of 71, surrounded by her loving family, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Wife of the late Francis Whealan Sr. Loving mother of Francis Whealan, Jr. and his wife Clare of Bridgewater, Patricia Seely and her husband Peter of Berkley, John Whealan of Randolph, Joanne Whealan Manning of Randolph, Charlene Smith and her husband James of Bridgewater, Kathleen McKenna and her husband Brian of Dorchester, James Whealan of NC, Karen Harrington and her husband Michael of Bridgewater, and Judith Colandreo and her husband Robert of Canton. Beloved sister of Dianne Ricci of NY, Richard LaFarge and his wife Mary of Bourne, John LaFarge and his wife Michelle of PA, the late Charles LaFarge and Judith Driscoll. Dear sister-in-law of Richard Driscoll of NH and Evelyn LaFarge of Hanson. Devoted "Nana" to 18 grandchildren, also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte. 28), RANDOLPH until 9:30 AM Friday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Bernadette Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
