Alison Kingsbury Obituary

In Mission Hill, July 20, 2008, after a short illness. Born in Worcester, MA, Sept. 23, 1941 to Kermit K. Kingsbury and Virginia (Briggs) Kingsbury. She attended Classical High School and Worcester Jr. College and Mass. Therapeutic Institute. Beloved wife of Freddie Davis. Loving mother of Rebekah Mulhearn. Alison is preceded in death by her big brother Billings Kingsbury. Alison was founder of Season's of the Sun Floral Designs, Alison's Therapeutic Massage and the Boston Soap Studio. She loved her Martha's Vineyard and always called the island her spiritual home spending every vacation there for over 30 years and if you look in the Martha's Vineyard Co-op you will see her soaps there. Alison often talked about her work in the Corp. (Salvation Army) & her many years as a volunteer with Hospices. Alison will be greatly missed by her many friends and loved ones and especially by her 3 special and loving cats, Hans, Rafeal and Zeke. A special Memorial Service will be held Sat., July 26 at the Forsyth Chapel at Forest Hills Cemetery at 2pm, 95 Forest Hills Ave, Boston. I am so sorry for your loss! Words cannot properly express or describe your Mom/Alison. She was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed by this world, but the next will be lucky to have her! My thoughts and prayers are with you and Fred.
