Entered into rest July 20, of Salem, formerly of Swampscott and Marblehead. Beloved husband of the late Frances (Mersky) Freedman and Mildred (Fine) Freedman. Devoted father of Robert Freedman and his wife Debra Ankeles of Swampscott, Dr. George and his wife Alegria Freedman of Marblehead, Emily Rappaport of Swampscott, and his step-daughters Carole and her husband Philip Himmelfarb of Milwaukee, WI, and Suzan Chatis of Newton. Loving brother of the late Joseph Freedman and Florence Corbert. Brother-in-law of Mary Freedman of Aventura, FL. Cherished grandfather of Deborah Freedman and her husband Dr. Peter Wodrich, Elizabeth and Michael Girioni, Jacob Freedman, Michael and Laura Freedman, Tamara and David Lord, Dr. Rachel Freedman, Renee and Marcel Menard, Jody and Jeffrey Prall, Michael and Nancy Himmelfarb, Elana Himmelfarb, Peter Himmelfarb and great-grandfather of Hannah, Lillian, Samuel, Sarah, Sofia, Caroline, Anya, Sophie, Daniel and Esther. Services at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., SALEM-SWAMPSCOTT line on Tuesday, July 22 at 1:00 pm. Memorial Observance Tuesday following the interment and Wednesday at the home of Dr. and Mrs. George Freedman.
