Robert Thomas Mulcahy

82, of Pocasset, died Monday, July 21, 2008, at home of natural causes. Husband of the late Barbara A. Mulcahy for 53 years, who died in 2001. Father of Jean Vanek and her husband John of Olympia, WA; Robert, Jr. of Gilroy, CA; Christine Mackay of Burlington, MA; Richard of Boston; Gerard and his wife Marie of Merrimack, NH; and James and his wife Minerva of Torreon, Mexico. Brother of Jack of Malden; Sr. Christine, SSND of Baltimore, MD; Bill of Melrose and Betty of Nashua, NH. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 24th from 4-7 PM and Friday from 9:30-10:15 AM in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Highway, WEST FALMOUTH. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 11 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Road, Pocasset. Burial will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 PM.
